Connect your AI assistant

met.cards runs an MCP server. Once connected, your AI assistant can search your connections, read a connection’s timeline, list your open promises and next moves, and, if you allow it, add notes, complete promises and draft follow-ups.

Every answer cites the connection, interaction or promise it came from, with a link back to met.cards.

Server URL: https://met.cards/api/mcp

  • OAuth, for claude.ai, ChatGPT and other clients that support it: you approve access in met.cards and never handle a token.
  • Personal access token, for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor and scripts.
  1. In met.cards, open Account and find Connected apps & tokens.
  2. Select Create token…, give it a name, then choose Read or Read & write under Permissions and an expiry under Expires (30, 90 or 365 days). Select Create.
  3. Copy the token. It is shown once; met.cards stores only a hash of it.

The same screen shows ready-to-copy setup snippets with your token filled in.

Terminal window
claude mcp add --transport http met-cards https://met.cards/api/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer <your token>"

The MCP tools reference lists every tool, the access it needs and its arguments. With Read access your assistant can search and read; Read & write also lets it add notes, complete promises and draft follow-ups. A drafted follow-up appears on the connection in met.cards; it does not come back in the chat.

Nothing deletes data and nothing sends email.

Open Account → Connected apps & tokens, select Revoke next to the token or app, then select Confirm.
